Meet the Block Museum Student Associates in our galleries for a close look at one or two works on view in Woven Being: Art for Zhegagoynak/Chicagoland.
Block Museum Student Associates (BMSAs) are Northwestern undergraduates representing interdisciplinary fields of study from across the university. In the galleries, the BMSAs engage The Block’s visitors in conversations about artworks that spark their curiosity and ideas that are relevant to our lives today.
Participation level – medium, participants are encouraged to respectfully share their own perspectives, thoughts, and questions throughout the Art Talk.
Programs are open to all, on a first-come first-served basis. RSVPs not required, but appreciated.
Woven Being is part of Art Design Chicago, a citywide collaboration initiated by the Terra Foundation for American Art that highlights the city’s artistic heritage and creative communities. Lead support for Woven Being is generously provided by the Terra Foundation for American Art. Major support is provided by the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.
