Get the most from your visit to the Block Museum with a guided tour. Block Museum docents and educators enrich your experience as they share their knowledge and generate discussion about our exhibitions. Explore the variety of tour experiences available at the Block.

Docent-Led Exhibition Tours
Free docent-led tours of Block Museum's exhibitions are offered at 1 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays on the following dates:
- January 28 to April 8
Tours begin at the information desk.
In the summer months, the Museum also offers tours of the outdoor Sculpture Garden.
Tours for groups of eight or more people can also be arranged. Requests should be made at least four weeks in advance. Fill out the Gallery Tour Request Form below or, for more information, email blockeducation@northwestern.edu.
Self-Guided Family Tours
Join the Compass Quest and walk in the footsteps of an explorer! Discover navigational tools, maps, and other objects in the exhibition Prints and the Pursuit of Knowledge in Early Modern Europe with our family tour kit, available for free checkout at the Museum book shop. Available every day beginning January 21. Recommended for families with children ages 6-12.
College/University and K–12 School Tours
Gallery tours for higher education groups and kindergarten through high school classes are available.
