An ancient and distinguished material that has undergone an extraordinary renaissance in the last few decades, glass challenges the imaginations of artists and art viewers. Featuring more than fifty unique works from prominent Chicago-area private collections, this Block-organized exhibition explored the various forms of glass and diverse concepts that contemporary artists like Dale Chihuly, Harvey Littleton, and Marvin Lipofsky have brought to the medium.
