Ranging from fifteenth-century woodcuts to nineteenth-century wood engravings, the Block Museum’s holdings offer a remarkable sampling of the art of European printmaking over the span of its inception and historic development. Albrecht Dürer, Rembrandt, J.M.W. Turner, and Honoré Daumier are some of the artists represented in this exhibition celebrating twenty-five years of collecting at the Block.
