Jennifer Walshe, exercise is written for various instruments. This piece is made of eight sound modules Walshe composed. For a performance, Walshe translates the score differently for each instrument performing. Each player receives four or five of the sound modules to play during one performance. With this piece, Walshe can alternate and re-interpret exercise every time it is performed.
