He was the winner of the internal Köhler-Osbahr-Prize at Folkwang Hochschule Essen, Germany in 1997, and founded "Interzone perceptible" together with the bass player Matthias Hettmer. He has composed and performed for ensemble and electronics in Germany and abroad.
