Configuration
This site is best viewed with the following configuration:

  • Windows 98 or Mac OS 8 or greater
  • 56kbs or greater internet connection
  • Netscape 4.0 or greater (download)
  • Internet Explorer 5.0 or greater (download)
  • Javascript enabled
  • MrSID browser plugin (optional download)

To check your browser version by selecting "About your browser" from the Help menu in your browser window. To enable Javascript on Netscape:

  1. From the Edit menu, select Preferences and go to Advanced.
  2. Under Advanced, make sure "Enable Javascript" is checked.

Display Settings
This site has been optimized for viewing on a maximized browser window at a screen resolution of 800x600 or greater (it looks best on 800x600), with a 32 bit color (millions of colors) depth. If the website does not fit within the screen or if the colors do not look right, you may have to change your settings:

For PC:
1. From the start menu, go to Settings | Control panel | display
2. Click on the settings tab and drag the slider bar to at least 800x600
3. To change the color setting, select "True Color" from the Color popup menu.

For Macintosh:
1. From the Apple menu, go to Control Panel | Monotor & Sound. You can also click on the Display tab on the slider menu
2. Click on the Monitor button
3. Select at least 800x600 for resolution and Millions of colors for color.

You may need to change your font size on your browser to view the text correctly:

For Netscape:
From the View menu, select decrease font. On a PC you may also use the Ctrl-[ shortcut.

For Internet Explorer:
From the View menu, go to Text Size and select "Smaller"

Plugins
The following plugins are utilized in this site:

  • Macromedia Flash Player4.0 or greater (download)
  • Quicktime Player 4.0 or greater (download)
  • MrSID browser plugin (optional download)

The score pages also utilize the MrSID browser plugin from LizardTech. This plugin is optional and the scores may be viewed with limited zooming capabilities without it; however, it is recommended that this plugin be downloaded to take advantage of its advanced features.
Note: The plugin view of the images on this site only work on Windows-based systems.

MrSID Usage (download)
The score pages utilize MrSID (Multi-resolution Seamless Image Database) to enhance the viewing experience of the scores. The score images may be viewed either with or without the MrSID browser plugin.

Non-plugin view:
  • To use the non-plugin view, select an action from the options below the image and click on the image to perform the action centered at that point:
    • Zoom In/Zoom Out: Zooms in and out centered at the click
    • Pan: Click on a poin to center the image at that point at the current zoom level
  • "Full View" returns the image to the maximum possible view
  • "Larger View" opens a new window with a larger image of the score
  • "View with Plugin" opens the image in the MrSID browser plugin
  • Some scores feature multiple pages, which may be navigated with the arrows at the bottom of the score

Plugin View (note: Plugin view of the images on this site only work on Windows-based systems):

Zoom In: Click on a point to zoom in on it
Zoom Out: Click on a point to zoom out
Select Zoom: Select and area to zoom in on it
Pan: Click and drag the image to move around
Max View: Click to return image to maximum view
Menu: Click for additional features
Zoom bars: Click on a bar to zoom to that level

The remaining links have the same functionality as the non-plugin view
