In Search of an Orchestration Throughout his musical career, Morton Feldman gradually grew into more and more traditional forms of notation. He became increasingly frustrated with what he considered misinterpretations of his work, and tried to specify more and more how his compositions should be played. This score, composed in 1969, was his last endeavor at composing a graphic score. It comes with detailed instructions about how to interpret it and is intended to be read as a graph. |
