Werner Dafeldecker, Hyogo (1997) is a graphical score based on the blueprints for a Buddhist temple. The score is a series of lines and "stops" where each player plays between the stops, therefore including silences throughout the piece. Dafeldecker mapped out a specific route for each player to follow during a performance. Once can see the red line that traces Kyle Bruckmann's part in his performance of this piece. |
