Musically, Lange has written hundreds of essays, reviews, and articles as well as conducting interviews on both music and poetry. Lange, a free-lance music producer, is responsible for twenty CDs to date, working with musicians like Guillermo Gregorio, Anthony Braxton, and Matthew Shipp. He produced and conducted the world premiere complete recording of Cornelius Cardew's Treatise (release on Swiss hat Art label) and has conducted ensembles at the Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art, the Rx Gallery, and other venues around Chicago.
